Here's one for now as we were arriving: imgur.com Even saw some of the PCW staff there from a distance, as well as some familiar old faces like Chris Keall and Yuha... |

He mentions the won't on-sell your data but where they have external security audits and things, if they have to pass on a portion of your information for that audit to proceed, they will. Seemed fair to me. Yes, there was lots of good looking girls, hired and not. There was even a mock raid during the event, fake FBI dropping in from the rooftops, fake FBI helicopter flying around... Whole thing was done very well! I'm going to guess there was around 250 guests? |

| 1323880 | 2013-01-20 21:40:00 | I think DC has been hard done by, and that Key and Co should be ashamed of themselves, but I can't see the US accepting the Nelsonian 'blind eye to the telescope' argument for very long . The 'three wise monkeys' also come to mind . The principle of the man on the No 47 bus will be applied, i . e . any ordinary citizen with an average knowledge of the computing world can reasonably be expected to know or at least suspect that an ultra-secure file storing/sharing service would attract and be used by on-line pirating organisations and individuals, and if it is that secure, drug dealers, people smugglers and arms dealers will climb aboard as well . That much will also become clear through email traffic and web comments over the coming months, and DC is right up there in that field of knowledge so he could never plead ignorance . Law changes are too easy to make, the US will apply pressure yet again, and the PM has many times demonstrated his willingness to kiss any backside that smells of short or long term political gain . Cheers Billy 8-{) :2cents: |
