1323782 2013-01-19 22:45:00 Does anyone know of a shop in Christchurch that would repair a bike light? Dropped it onto concrete, now it only goes when pointed straight downward, or will flash on for a second if shaken. Don't really want to buy a new one as it is quite a nice (and expensive) front light.

Cheers

I have absolutely no clue as to how to fix it :). Otherwise I would.

1323786 2013-01-20 04:11:00 What brand/model is the light? Your best bet would be to take it to a bike shop, doubt they would be able to do anything though. sahilcc7 (15483)

1323788 2013-01-20 05:22:00 It will likely be much cheaper to buy another one than try to get the shop to repair it. Bike shops typically only repair actual bikes anyway. An electronics repair shop might do it but the cost could be anything.

You would probably get the best deal if you try to repair it yourself. If you can't find anything else why not post photos here? I'm sure you'd get some interesting suggestions...

Going by the symptoms, it probably needs little more than some carefully applied glue somewhere.
