2013-07-07 20:00:00 | 30 POSTS: A COMPLETE WAST OF SPACE! Why cant the ignorant stay silent? The people of this forum volunteer their time. They try to help with what information they are given. You, however are being very ungrateful. If the advice is not suitable, then just say 'thanks, but that didn't help'. Manners please.

2013-07-09 16:38:00 | I don't feel grateful when I have to come here 20 times to be told that the latest poster doesn't know anything. These people are wasting their time, my time and the time of anyone who arrives here as a result of an internet search, hoping to learn something. When I read a post and realize that I don't know anything that would help. I say nothing. I only wish others were as thoughtful. It is getting harder and harder to learn anything from a Google search; due to the huge volume of 'Questions asked and then not answered'! Before I posted my question here I spent hours searching the internet. PressF1 was my last resort. Hoping that someone who knew something would reply. 34 reply's and no answer. Do the world a favor Jen, Delete the lot!

So I don't feel like I should help you at all. |

2013-07-09 21:11:00 | The problem in finding an answer to your question is not the replies, its the fact you don't want to look at other causes. ONE reason you may not get the exact answer is even though you have googled, the actual problem "may" simply be theres corruption on your computer and you don't want to accept that fact. Heres what I mean - try asking yourself the following and work through the possibilities. 1.Has anyone else (that you know of) reported problems with running Chameleon Clock and experiencing the same problems in W7 ? ( if so provide links to the site) 2. I have spent months watching it progressively fail to run. reinstalled it to find it runs less well, reinstalled it to find it worse, until the installer wont run at all! Going by that comment it has run in the past, and did work, so you need to ask yourself, "What's Changed" a. Has there been any upgrades to the clock installed then the problem started ? b. When did it actually start giving problems and what was happening at the time (installed other programs, uninstalled other programs) ? What I quoted above is a classic symptom of system corruptions - what caused it - you may never know. 3. Heres something to try - Reinstall Windows 7 from fresh after saving all your data - put the clock back in - it should run fine. Running my own computer repair business for over 10 years, these sorts of problems are seen all the time with various programs - and 99% of the time its due to corrupted files someplace. Generally if a program ( and a simple one like the Chameleon Clock ) if it were incompatible it would fail instantly, not get progressively worse over months. 4. Take the PC to a computer repairer in your area, get them to fix the problems - of course it will cost you and don't be at all surprised if its system corruption ;) Finally: Sometimes there simply isn't a fix for the problem - but if you're not prepared to do some of your own leg work as in #3 - then no one can help. You also need to be more precise in your questions / Descriptions, saying Preferably one that looks good Sorry but that doesn't describe much, while you like the look of Chameleon Clock - whats nice looking to you may not be to someone else.

2013-07-09 21:34:00 | PressF1 was my last resort. Hoping that someone who knew something would reply. All we can know is that you ask vague, poorly-worded questions, with half-assed information, and are rude and arrogant when people try to help.
