2013-07-03 11:58:00 | I could replace it but $160 for a kb. Dont think so :p I pulled the kb out earlier. It was easier than I thought, and gave it a clean. But nope, the home keys still work when and if they feel like working  There are cheap kb replacements overseas (ie: Ebay). Too bad I've got no way of getting one | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2013-07-03 21:54:00 | $160? Don't be silly, where are you getting that price from? | wratterus (105) | |
2013-07-03 22:24:00 | $160? Don't be silly, where are you getting that price from? Empr an authorised HP place that sells spare parts. Seems to be the only place in NZ besides trademe

2013-07-03 23:27:00 | That's really dear, even for EMPR. You'd probably find one on trademe? | wratterus (105) | |
2013-07-03 23:31:00 | Just did a check on Trademe, nothing. May see if the sis in oz can get this (www.ebay.com.au) on Ebay. I think she's on it A lot cheaper than Empr

2013-07-06 09:32:00 | tried disconnecting the battery and power, pressing the power button a few times and leaving it for a few minutes? | 8ftmetalhaed (14526) | |
2013-07-06 09:37:00 | I managed to get the sis in oz to get the one on Ebay above. Hopefully it works. I tried removing the battery using power, removing the power using the battery. Turning it off for a few mins, then turning it back on. The keys do work but not straight away (once you get into Windows). I think its a fault or a loose wire or something. Since if I press the keys harder or a certain way, they work
