| 1347705 | 2013-07-02 05:06:00 | I've got an HP notebook here with Win7 on it. Everything works, but the keys asdf, jkl; and the enter key work when they feel like it. Everytime I turn it on, these keys dont work straight away. But (maybe) after 20-25 mins they do? I've checked to see if there's anything under these keys. There's nothing Any ideas on what I can check / do to see what's causing this? |

| 1347708 | 2013-07-02 05:57:00 | I've seen a sort of similar problem as this on old Acer Aspire/Travelmate 3000 series notebooks, it was to do with the ACPI power manager/battery lever checker thing. Seemed to be a hardware issue as whenever I came across it, a reinstall didn't fix the problem, but disabling the ACPI thing in the device manager did. But I don't think that's whats happening here. You've re-seated the ribbon cable, and reset/updated the BIOS? |
