| 177933 | 2003-09-26 06:35:00 | Metla I assume you are joking. With the schemes I have seen around PC World awards and plans so cunning that they don't even need tails to be called weasels, I think telling people about awards and the chance to vote hardly constitutes rigging the voting. I can name a number of sites that have linked to the voting page (and we haven't, can't see IDG ever agreeing to, that's not me, it's company politics) and encouraging people to vote. I can't see us losing as a result of you know voting, but given the amount of time you have spent here I have to say I am somewhat confused by your reaction. Anyone see Sideswipe in the Herald the last couple of days? They've been going on about it regarding some gospel choir website and got the wrong idea, too. robo. |

| 177935 | 2003-09-26 06:42:00 | Second thoughts, Metla, I just re-read my original post . I have to say that if that offends you then I am really sorry, but I just don't get what planet you are from . I didn't ask people to vote for pressf1, I just said that would be a bonus . We aren't able to win our own awards and it is almost impossible that a former competitor would award anything to us (it would be a PR disaster, although I actually think Nigel would be above that, he's a good bloke) . Maybe you've just caught me on a bad day, but I find your position utterly sad and quite insulting . Maybe the emoticon got lost somewhere in your posting . Of course, my impartiality dictates that my personal feelilngs about your moral high ground on such a non-issue has no impact on your eligibility for prizes on PressF1 . Shame, really . robo . |

| 177936 | 2003-09-26 06:45:00 | I only voted for about four that I felt fitted sites that I regularly used and felt strongly about. The Webmaster of one then told me I could have voted in another category but too late, only one vote per person. I voted for my ISP and rated them appropriately (they may have been better off not being voted for by me) robo. |
