| 177780 | 2003-09-24 23:57:00 | I have trouble with files being saved in upper case with ME. This is random & is a nuiscence as I have to check them all before using them in links or uploading to the server. This does not happen in XP on the same computer. Has anyone had the same experience? |

| 177782 | 2003-09-25 00:07:00 | No problem for me either. When you say saving a file do you mean you are having trouble with a particular application (Word, Excel etc) or is it across the board? There may be a setting within the registry which alters filenames - I know it changes filenames to proper case if the file name is less than a particular length (8 char?). eg if I type ABC.txt it will reformat to Abc.txt. There was a fix for this in PCW - last issue or a couple of mths ago. Perhaps theres something that causes upper case? |
