| 178498 | 2003-09-28 00:46:00 | Oh, forgot to mention that PressF1 has a really good FAQ on Backups: FAQ #7 How do I backup my important files which files should I back up? (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) Note: that link will take a seriously long time to load the page (forum glitch) - but hang in there and it will turn up eventually :) |

| 178499 | 2003-09-29 08:15:00 | Thanks All Now I can backup!! But what to backup? I've had a look at the Press F1 FAQ - very helpful. Still have about 10 Gb to backup - photos and music. Will I need to buy a DVD writer? Mmm - perhaps 15 CD-R's and then incremental backups. Need to sort out my folders though. Thanks again Jen C, Pheonix and pompeymike :) bba (also from CHCH) |
