I am wondering if i can make a internet shortcut on my desktop to "open in a new window" when Internet Explorer is already open instead of it taking over the page in Internet Explorer that is open |

just hold down shift when clicking a link, or go file > new > window in ie |

If you go into the internet options on the Advanced tab under the browsing heading there is an option to "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" |
