178269	2003-09-26 22:16:00	I have Dragon Dictate, version seven, and have just installed the latest 30MB patch. This has made it very unstable and the optimiser repeatedly crashes. Apparently we have to go back, reinstall seven, reinstall the patch, and transfer the user over as the patch is a different voice file format from version seven. Then we see if it runs any better. Version six, was unstable in this fashion also, and every month it would need reinstalling, otherwise it became very flaky. I really like using a dictation system, but Dragon dictate seems to be putting too many bells and whistles in, without concentrating on the basics. One basic thing would be for Dragon pad to do automatic backups. If anyone else has had any luck with the new patch, I would be keen to hear of their experience. Also if anyone has had several months of working experience with the IBM version of dictation, I would be keen to hear about it. Antonicus	Antonicus (4639)
