178341 2003-09-27 09:48:00 When I try to accecc 'www.xtra.co.nz' I get the message "The connection was refused when Attempting to contact www.xtra.co.nz".
This message is displayed when using Mozilla borwser.
When using Explorer, Google search window is opened with 'Xtra:Home' found but when I click on 'Xtra:Home' I get the message "The page cannot be displayed" (tab in taskbar is labbled "Cannot find server".

If I type www.xtra.co.nz/nome in the address bar the home page opens but some of the links on the page return the error messages again.

In itself not being able to access Xtra is not a disaster but I am concerned that other sites are not loading also. (I have presumed in the pased that sites must have closed but now I am not so sure).

This is a problem on my desktop computer running Windows 98SE, I do not have the problem if I connect using my portable also running Windows 98.

Apologies if that is not the problem, but someone else found that this was the cause of their lack of internet access .

178344 2003-09-27 10:37:00 The problem I am experiencing happens when using Mozilla, Explorer or Enigma Browsers.
The only firewall I have is part of my PC-Cillin 2002 antivirus program and I have tried accessing the site with PC-Cillic deactivated.
