| 178207 | 2003-09-26 09:29:00 | I don't know anything about this cgi thing for forms, but just using the mailto thing is useless. I have a free orcon account for my host, and I dunno if that supports it. Can anyone help me out, maybe send me a link so I can learn how do write my own. Also, how do I have a "two level website", if that is what it is called. Where I can have a website, and then people can log on to view further information, and access more pages. I think that is all. Thanks |

Nope the free Orcon space does not support CGI or PHP etc . But tripod lets you run CGI scripts. (But it is slow) But if you want, I can on one of my website Host you any PHP &/ or CGI scrip if you want....... |

You can setup a password gate ( do a search on here for that) seen orcon does not support .htaccess :( |

| 178210 | 2003-09-26 11:26:00 | It looks like i will have to learn ASP or something. I see on my Dreamweaver CD, it has the developer version of Cold Fusion. Can I use that? What is ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, Cold Fusion and all this garbage anyway? |
