179295 2003-09-30 07:37:00 Hi, Im not sure if this is the cause but having muliple versions of the same app can cause issues because the apps share some common files. I have several versions of office installed on one PC, but I installed them from oldest version through until latest version as described in this artivcle here (support.microsoft.com).

It would mean uninstaling everything then loading 2k ver then xp but may be the only option unless omseone else has any ideas.

good luck.

I would take this to mean his Operating System is XP Pro.
He has installed Office 2000.

Assuming this is correct, its not then an issue of multiple versions of Office.

On this assumption, I ask have you installed Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 for Office 2000? I

t was a bit buggy when released, and before going in any deeper, these should be applied first.
