And miners don't smoke at the coalface, either; but above-ground, they smoke as much as anyone else. (Some bright spark of a researcher tried them as a control group in a cancer study, until someone pointed out his basic mistake). I don't think that was quite the question. Argus |

| 179119 | 2003-10-03 15:25:00 | I cant remember where but i read that smokin cannabis is an anti-depressent and also pain killer used for people with arthritis or women with the onset of menopause or something like that. | vk_dre (195) | ||
| 179120 | 2003-10-06 00:28:00 | I don't know about anti-depressant, different people react differently to it, for me, laughing for no apparent reason, I felt I was going slow (slow motion mode), supposedly you're mellow, sometimes you go as white as a ghost and also thinking of things deeper than before, like a kind of process of what you are wanting to do, e.g. breathe and you're thinking about breathing and then you question your breathing and how you should breath (wacky huh?) all in your head and no one has any idea what you are doing/thinking. Just remember to breath :P Now trying to not laugh made me a bit agitated as I wanted to not laugh, and not feeling in control of that wouldn't be an anti-depressant but more of a fake feeling. I remember exactly what happen and what I laughed at, and it wasn't even funny (how sad), they say it has an effect of short memory loss, but I remember everything from my experience with it and I keep recalling back to it as 'what was the point?' Moral of the story, Don't do Drugs. |

| 179124 | 2003-10-06 06:42:00 | I suppose some geeks do drugs though none of my computer mates do, the freinds I have that do drugs seem to have no interest in PCs, I can only guess it's because you may have to think a little to use a Pc. Having to take drugs for the last 15 years for Athritis it's beyond me why anyone would take them through choice. Thought this was a help forum, nice to see geeks have a point of view. Pibs |
