| 179095 | 2003-10-01 00:32:00 | >I have it on good authority that morphine is not addictive when used in hospital situations Now,im not going to disagree with you seeing as i ain't a doctor,But a good freind of mine had a head on crash with a car(he was on a motorcycle)His brain swelled to the point where the pressure in his head was giving him brain damage and holes were drilled in his head to relieve the pressure,he visited death many times but at the end of the day he pulled trhru,his brain works a little slower but hell,hes still with us . Anyway,The entire time he was in hospital they had him on morphine,to the point where he was complety reliant on it,And he was kept in hospital an extra 3 months after being otherwise fit to come out,This 3 months was needed to ween him off the hospital supplied morhine . As for P,It aint as addictive as they say,Many of the population have tried it,The problem is those who do get addictated spiral out of control so very quickly . Are drugs bad? . . . hell yes . The proof is everywhere . Anyone condoning the use of drugs especially P is in dreamland . However,Its your body,do what you like,But promoting it as safe is a joke . |

Sure some drugs are worse than others, but I'm sure that there are some people that if they aren't hooked on marijuana they'd be hooked on alcohol or gambling or something. They're just addictive people. Though of course some drugs do seem to be worse than others. But the people which can manage it don't make the media do they ;) |
