Then there's alchohol which is a drug which I'm sure most of you have had one time or another, I know that I have. As for what you're probably talking about, yes they do. I don't but there certainly are people out there that do. |

2003-09-30 00:23:00 | From the news stories I've seen, I think P is made from high-grade lab chemicals, not something like Panadol/Cough Mixture. The drug labs which have been busted always had some highly volitile chemicals which they were using to make it. | somebody (208) | |
2003-09-30 01:33:00 | I think you mean Panadeine instead of Panadol due to it's higher levels of codeine contained with in it. Some cough mixtures I think you'll find also contain codeine. | -=JM=- (16) | |
2003-09-30 01:41:00 | I don't count caffeine. You can't. It isn't even a drug for geeks, it is a vitamin. I'm talking E and P and the other dodgy letters of the alphabet. A counter-strike player isn't going to smoke a joint before a game because then he would just go "Oh wow man, that's really heavy, I got fragged again. Bummer" instead of racing around blasting people. I have this theory that gaming and things is the way some people escape dull reality and be someone they aren't, and therefore as a development of the "reality is for people who can't handle drugs" theorem is this: "drugs are for people who can't enter the virtual world". It's just a thought. Another one is this: how many geeks are morning people versus night people? robo.

2003-09-30 02:14:00 | I'd hate to be involved with any druggy. I usually sleep 11:30pm to 7:00am, sometimes later both ways... However, despite this, I'm a very night person. My afternoon lessons can within ease get me to sleep. I'm about 3 hours behind the normal, i.e. while other people may be most awake at 9am, I'm only awake at 11am.

2003-09-30 02:16:00 | Also, in many Asian countrys, if not others as well.. they call pharamacy "drug stores". It'd totally put me off going in there for anything, let alone advice. ;-)

2003-09-30 02:19:00 | I'm a morning person - get to sleep any time between 10:30 and midnight depending how good the movies are at that time... Then I'm back up at 5:30am to start the day... CyberChuck

2003-09-30 02:54:00 | hiya, Drugs are bad, i think geeks are quite intelligent and understand that sort of stuff, the problems etc etc . Although their intelligence could mean that they could nick chemicals from school and the chemist and make metaanphetamines . But this is due to greed, and greed is bad, and is the only reason people get caught . . . . Currently, as it is the holidays i'm living in a programmers body clock (11am till 2-3 am) which is great . . . i'm never tired, and fall asleep straight away, don't wake up sleepy . . . stupid school though, i never wake up till 11 anyways . I think i do know geeks who have done weed, but then again, probably not . Depends on the definition of a geek . - David
