| 179717 | 2003-10-01 23:40:00 | :8} :8} Shame, shame!! This must be MY fault. As I downloaded photos from camera, I clicked the wrong box, and somehow, it has altered the way the K.P.S site first comes on screen. Normally, it comes straight on, with Get Picture...edit...etc etc. NOW, when it comes on, only GET PICTURES and EXIT light up,...all the other choices are inoperable. Click Get Pictures, and it now goes into File Browser screen, which shows desktop shortcuts. i.e...shortcut to My Pictures, etc. End up going nowhere fast. Can GET into My Pictures, but then can't put them into K.P.S. :_| Cant print photos from there...nothing!! I am a calm, gentle female...UNTIL the computer doesn't obey!! X-( HELP. P.J's comment...."when was this?";) |

| 179719 | 2003-10-02 00:22:00 | Hi Maryann What version of Kodak Software are you using? Is it the Easyshare product that comes with the CX series cameras? I have had a look at mine and I see no options to do what PJ has done. (Note subtle blame transferral :D) One option might be to uninstall the software and start again. That won't affect any pictures you have stored already but if you are not comfortable about that, just move them to another folder while you reinstall the program. Cheers Billy 8-{) :) [pre][b]P.S. Have you tried swearing at it? It may not fix the problem but you sure as hell feel better! If it doesn't help the first time, get PJ to have go as well. |

| 179720 | 2003-10-02 00:48:00 | Yes....Easyshare, and CX. P.J thought the easiest thing to do was to uninstall and install again. I do appreciate your subtle "blame transferance", Billy dear. I am so delicate and have become quite distressed by "his" mistake, thus depriving me of many hours of photographic pleasure. [/pre] Yes, please don't tell anyone, but I have been guilty of using rather bad language just lately...including...wait for it .."Oh bother" and EVEN..."drat". P.J is in hiding at the moment, pretending that he doesn't know me, and hoping that you all think kindly of him. ;) |
