| 179500 | 2003-10-01 04:11:00 | Had a PS/2 mouse connected to serial port however the port has all of a sudden ceased working. Tried another mouse without success and also tried the mouse I had been using on another computer and it worked there, so it's definitely a serial port problem. Any ideas? I run Windows 2000 Pro on a Toshiba 432O laptop with 256K memory |

Most (all?) versions of Windows will use any internal "mouse" as well as any external mouse, but check in the Control panel/Hardware Manager to see what mouse it expects. (Use Tab and arrow keys if you can't mouse there. :D Ctrl/Esc is the "Windows" key). |
