| 179473 | 2003-10-03 21:44:00 | Well the problem is solved - by a roundabout sort of way!!!!! I took both HDD's out of the wifes computer and installed them into mine. Her system drive became HDD 0 primary master and her new maxtor 40 gig became my prim slave on HDD 1. Grabed Ghost and copied her HDD 0 to the new drive, put her new system drive into her computer, as HDD 0, and away we went. splendid. Once she as finished un installing, I will put her origional HDD back in as the system drive as prim/master. Gota say though folks, thanks to you all. learned a hellava lot about HDD's, well I thought I did untill I found another post discussing HDD's and the use of them, setting them up etc. And I really did not have much idea what they were even talking about :-) Thanks folks, you have been rocks - now I wonder what will be next :-) |
