| 180101 | 2003-10-03 03:33:00 | In Win XP I would like certain groups of programmes in folders to be away from all the other inconsequential icons so I can access them quickly but when I drag the folders to the other side of the screen they always go back to where they came from. There must be an easy way. Any ideas?<wiremu1@yahoo.com> | Wiremu1 (693) | ||
| 180102 | 2003-10-03 04:42:00 | Wiremu1, You could modify the properties of the desktop to stop the "Auto Arrange". Right-click on the 'empty' desktop and left-click on the "Arrange Icons by" and unselect the "Auto Arrange" option. Now set your icons/shortcuts etc the way you wish. Cheers, Babe. |

A word of advice, I wouldnt post your email address on here.. we do get spiders searching the forum, and you might just end up receiving a little bit more spam... Aside from that, Right-Click on your desktop and hover your mouse over: Arrange Icons By Now, make sure there's no tick beside "Auto-Arrange Icons" and you should be peachy :-) Cheers Chill. |
