| 180471 | 2003-10-04 23:45:00 | How do I copy file names into an excel sheet, I want to make a folder of my mp3 files. | Bobdobalino (4684) | ||
| 180472 | 2003-10-05 00:00:00 | Drop into DOS command line mode Navigate to the folder using DOS commands When you are in the mp3 folder, go: dir >mp3.txt Type exit to return to Windows This has piped the directory listing to a file called mp3.txt. In Excel, navigate to the folder and open mp3.txt. Open it as space delimited, treat subsequent delimiters as one. Dress it up however you want, and save as whatever you want to call it, use File of type .xls to retain any special formatting you may have used. |
