If you are not playing CS, or surfing, just idle, do you get disconnected at all? Maybe there is a connection problem in your area at the moment, the Xtra network status page doesn't report any connection issues, so could be local, following the strong winds lately. J :D |

| 180462 | 2003-10-04 23:04:00 | CS has updated now to 1.6 and you play through Steam (www.steampowered.com). This gives you a new 'Steam ID' and the WON (World Opponent Network) ID number will still be redundant, which means that games running 1.5 on the net will cease very soon. Steam is a stand-alone program that finds servers, launches the game, sets options etc. The maps, weapons and some features of the game have changed too. Maybe if you are connecting to the 1.5 version servers you should look at updating.... J :D |

| 180465 | 2003-10-04 23:33:00 | yes, it is that size . . . . if you are on Jetstart you can get it at full speed from the Jetstream ftp site, or there are several places you can get it from using a download manager (leave it going overnight and resume if interrupted) . I suggest getting the full 370-odd meg file which includes the cache needed rather than the smaller 'installer' and Steam downloading it separately (that way never worked properly for me) . Someone may be able to burn it to a CD and post it to you . I could if you were really stuck . (2 phonelines) But 768 megs thats like 4 days non-stop but if you were going to be REALLY generous and send the full to me? |

Does this mean it has the Halflife update in it? the halflife site does not have the 1 . 1 . 2 . 0 update . I have the cs mod 1 . 5 .
