| 180286 | 2003-10-04 02:48:00 | are you saying you dont get alerted or you want more of an alert? you should get a envelope icon in tray when you recieve mail. but are you asking more? like incred has something pop up on screen? as sound is not an option? im not sure that it does as i have asked this question before and no one came up with anything new to be of a help. beetle |

The only thing you get when you get new mail in OE 6.0 is sound & this icon on the taskbar by the clock (sal.neoburn.net) & a number by the inbox folder or any folder you told OE to put the mail in( mail rules) |

| 180288 | 2003-10-04 02:54:00 | yeah i do get a evelope but its kind of annoying to have to keep looking down at the corner...i was hoping therewas something that would pop up and would do the job of alerting me..instad of me having to look down there evry moment as i've got my email settins as check server every minute... i'm looking online right now as we speak... i guess the answer lies in incredimail as i found this [url=http://incredimail.com/english/download_imol.html [Incredimail Office Add-on [/url] got to have Microsoft Office, not Outlook express...i have it on cd, installed it once but it was sooo slow so took it off.... i mite consider reinstalling..and removing outlook express if thers no other options around... |
