If you stand back a minute and think about that, its interesting.

If the facility was available, Gator would need to store something on your PC so it would know it wasn't allowed. But thats exactly the activity you don't want to allow.

Your IP Address will change each time you connect, and there is nothing else available to identify yourself except at "cookie" level, and you wouldn't want a cookie from Gator at any price I suspect.

180451 2003-10-05 20:47:00 Thank you GF -
my elderly brain was not as addled as the leg pulling inferred- yes this was the last resort- hopeless at that!!!
:-(
As far ads and unwanteds etc, I can determine my puta is as clean as any good "pullthough" could make it - and I might add that is because of the good advice that the likes of you have enabled- no doubt I will run into problems again - so kindly be available-
to start computing at retirement has meant my brain did NOT go rotten as it surely would have, and up to a point I can now get myself out of the proverbial--- as well, though I have to still discount the white hair which has come from this hobby----I think!
;-)

180452 2003-10-06 04:33:00 What about Spybot S&D's immunization, that works fine. nembathekid (4683)
180453 2003-10-06 05:17:00 Another program that is similar to Spybot's immunize, is Spywareblaster. But it is far more comprehensive. Pheonix (280)
