180379 2003-10-04 06:59:00 My computer don't recognize my password or name. Asks for Domain name that I did not enter before. All this as a result of an attempt to set home network. I registered as Administrator, instead, probably as a guest.

180383 2003-10-04 07:26:00 From memory, the NT kernal does not allow logging in without authentication from a Domain Server if one is specified, however, in the same scenario with Windows 9x, you can just specify mshome as the domain and then log in with your information. It will complain that it was unable to authenticate with a domain server and some network resources will be unavailable but it will log you in (Win9x don't forget). From there it's easy enough to disable domain authentication.
If you run out of options it's something to try...

180384 2003-10-04 07:30:00 As i'm running xp pro and linux, you can choose wheter you want to logon to an nt domain or not on the logon screen if you have specified one. If you have specifed a nt domain and it's at home and you don't have a server, that is weird but, click on more options or something and if it says your domain (not the computers name) click on that and change it to the computers name.

Then you might be able to login.
