181052 2003-10-07 06:10:00 Down load Hijackthis (www.majorgeeks.com) and it will list a heap of settings. See if you can see it in the list, and you can then go there and change it or remove it. Pheonix (280)
181053 2003-10-07 06:12:00 Care is needed with this program. Pheonix (280)
181054 2003-10-07 06:27:00 Hello,
What does this program actually do?
csinclair83 (200)
181055 2003-10-07 06:42:00 Its only 150Kb, but quote:-
HijackThis examines certain key areas of the Registry and Hard Drive and lists their contents. These are areas which are used by both legitimate programmers and hijackers. It's up to you to decide what should be removed. Some items are perfectly fine. You should not remove them. Never remove everything. Doing that could leave you with missing items needed to run legitimate programs and add-ins.
End quote
So it just lists settings..the decision is up to you.

181056 2003-10-07 06:44:00 Have a look at this tutorial (www.spywareinfo.com) to get a better idea. Pheonix (280)
181057 2003-10-07 06:51:00 well sounds easy to do but i dont really wanna do something like that if it has the possiblitly of stuffing up legimate programs uness its the only thing i can use and i could just do a sysrestore point before doing it...
