In IE go to tools > Options > Advanced and removed the tick from Java (Sun) and put a tick in "Microsoft VM - Java console engaged" and "JIT compiler for virtual machine....." Let us know how you get on with that. |

| 181669 | 2003-10-21 09:26:00 | I use the Microsoft Java VM... die Sun, die. ]:) I dislike incredibly the Sun Java VM, and by the time Microsoft dumps their Java VM completely, I'll probably be using Linux more, but hopefully also by then, the Sun VM will be better. |

| 181672 | 2003-10-21 09:35:00 | Well, yes, they've dropped updates etc, but not support, because many administrators complained that it would take a lot longer than the time given to migrate to the Sun Java VM. But overall, I don't knowingly make use of the Java VM much (I'm being ignorant here...), and I have reasonable policies in place about what I do and where I browse. |
