Not happy with $US46 billion in the bank. They are now patenting other folks ideas.
Can't wait for the Assie who patented the revolving device to remove Mr Gates wheels. ;)
Have they run out of ideas, did they have any new ones in the first place?

If the idea is not already patented and if the idea is novel, a patent can be granted.

If not, it will be declined.

Thats why there is a patent system. The patent system is a world-wide system, its not owned by any person or company.

As a test, if you were able now to patent the paper clip, would you?

181636 2003-10-09 06:11:00 There's a funny video featuring a hugely over-sized paperclip (pretty much a real one though). It acts in the style of the paperclip from Microsoft Office - "It looks like you're writing a letter", and the person at the computer swears at it and gets rather annoyed.

It's a good watch.
