| 181498 | 2003-10-09 01:11:00 | I have been trying to send an e-mail to : discuss@linmodems.org I keep getting the following error message : /bin/sh: [: ==: binary operator expected ezmlm-reject: fatal: Sorry, I don't accept messages of MIME Content-Type 'multipart/alternative' (#5.2.3) I am using Outlook Express 5.5. I have tried changing the format from HTML to plain text, but it makes no difference. Would anyone be able to tell me what the problem is ? |

| 181501 | 2003-10-09 01:56:00 | With OE open go to Tools/Options Click on the Send Tab Mail Sending Format- select Plain text Click on Plain Text Settings and with MIME selected, in the box Encode Text Using select None |

| 181502 | 2003-10-11 01:09:00 | I found that when I had changed my options to Plain text the MIME none option was already set. But I remembered that with OE, changes to options often don't take effect until one closes & restarts OE. I did this and restarted Windows for good measure. After that, all was well. | unsavvy (4648) | ||
