| 181372 | 2003-10-08 08:00:00 | I wish to upgrade my Win98 to Win98SE so I can upgrade my video card from a i740 to a Geforce 2 MMX 400. In time I wish to a complete format and reinstall. My question is whether I can Upgrade 98SE over 98 using the same procedure in the latest issue of PC World without formatting etc. |

| 181373 | 2003-10-08 09:03:00 | Sorry, don't recall that part in mag. But normally, you would just install over top of the existing installation using a 98SE disk. Always backup the info you can't afford to lose before any major excercise, because in software, even the simplistic of procedures can go wrong. |
