The licence states that you must supply a free version of the OS but it doesn't say that it has to have all the features included. Some of the tools and apps within linux are written for linux but may not actually be based on the code, these apps and tools may only be in the retail version, or not. | Odin (227) | ||

A lot of Linux just happens to be free as in cost but nowhere in the GPL does it say that it has to be.
