| 1348758 | 2013-07-13 01:04:00 | Hi All. Tried to ask this on the new forum but cannot logon. We are with Orcon on the bronze plan. 5GB, Homeline, Line Maint. $86/month. To get their 30GB plan for $75/m we have to go to Genius. However I have a medical alarm. The phone would work thro' the Genius. Does that mean it will be a naked line, No phone on the copper wire? If so I dont like that. Also... If I pay $75 + the $10 telecom surcharge for using their equipment, that is now $85 for 30GB. Yes??? To me that is expensive. I am not getting a "phoneline" yet the 30GB price is near enough the same. Any comments? PJ |

Their VDSL not sure about that one. But that's copper should have landline right. Sticking with ADSL, doesn't Vodafone have a $75 plan 12 month contract with landline $75 odd ..? |

| 1348760 | 2013-07-13 04:49:00 | PJ Have you considered Vodafone 30GB plus home phone $75 plus unlimited calls to 5 NZ landlines, plus if you book Sky through them they offer free MySky HDI. | coldot (6847) | ||
| 1348761 | 2013-07-13 05:28:00 | Those Vodafone plans are also Naked DSL plans AFAIK. PJ, Stick with Telecom, they're quite happy to have a normal phone line + broadband combo :) And yes, the Telecom VDSL2 seems to be all clothed broadband ATM. |
