| 1348607 | 2013-07-11 03:44:00 | iOS6, backed up iPhone incl camera roll to iCloud, reset iPhone to factory, setup and restored iPhone from the iCloud backup, and it will not restore the camera roll. I can see all the data (1.3GB) under camera roll in iCloud backup, but can't get at it. Nice one, Apple. Any ideas? Thanks. |

Try this: 1) Do not plug the phone into a computer, use the wall charger, only to prevent any iTunes sync activity 2) Erase all settings and data, restore from the iCloud backup and input passwords in all the pop up windows once it reboots. 2) Open photos app gallery to see photos downloading and show the progress message "downloading xx of x,xxx" 3) Leave it on this photo screen and do not touch the phone at all for the entire restore. Do not close the photo galley/camera roll app once or open any other apps. |
