If you change your addy on the Xbox to US. And try to redeem some of these Xbox live card codes, they'll tell you its invalid. Which is wrong, its been activated but because the addy on the Xbox is US, and the code you've typed in maybe for NZ only, it'll tell you its invalid.
I've just come across this when I tried to add MS points. It didn't work on the Xbox or online. I had to get MS online for a chat. And thats when I found out, that the code has been activated, but I cant use it or see what I've added. The code is valid according to MS (since it has been activated). But, now I'll have to wait 3-5+ days for them to send me a US code. Which will HOPEFULLY work |
