As somebody who owned 4 phones last year, I'll tell you, it's AMAZING! :D

And the same from me who's had three hardware faults :p

(I do have to relink accounts where people use different names on different services, but meh. A lot better than re-entering everything)

1324542 2013-01-24 02:15:00 Definitely store in the cloud with google, as chill said, using multiple devices is soooo much easier. Also if you do muck up then you just login and sync, esp helpful if you lost your phone, had a temporary one from insurer or what ever and then got your new one, everything just slides seamlessly between each device. Also good because I can check on my contacts online if my phones not with me!

I used to store on SIM with my dumb phone, because if the phone died/got a new phone my contacts would be ok.... then I lost my SIM :p

If the cloud wasn't available but we still had smartphones I'd store the contacts on the phone (and manually backup/sync) because the amount of features available for phone storage is so much better than on SIM, picture, email, DoB, multiple phone numbers to name a few.
