| 1324390 | 2013-01-22 21:08:00 | Elk is basically fat free - kinda blah w/o some spices. I like grease dripping off my elbows when I eat. The head gasket in the Blazer is easy and I've slipped heads out on that block-type before w/o pulling the intake manifold. I just don't wanna work outside in the cold so I'll wait a bit for the first thaw. It wouldn't be bad except that my Isuzu is still apart for the paint job and that only leaves one running vehicle for the two of us to share right now. |

Does the smoke get to you guys? Be good to each other - I'll be back. Try buying a jap ute, won't have gasket problems. Why do they not make the bankers pay for the chaos they produced? |

Me and my cousin (a cert'd mechanic) recently replaced a head gasket, for my neice's 93 Nissan, along with new head bolts (pain to torque at 3 stages). Cause was a semi blocked radiator, and a hot day, when it blew. What caused the blazers failure? Coolant loss somewhere or lack of water circulation? | kahawai chaser (3545) | ||
