1348121 2013-07-06 06:17:00 Hi, quick q: I want to put my email address on the contact page of my small business website . is there any disadvantage to doing this? i have a contact form as well but some people like to send attachments and other info and just like to be different lol
Also is it ok to put your full email on the website? or should you do the email[at]email . com ?? does that prevent spam attacks ?

what's best?

Thanks!!

1348122 2013-07-06 06:27:00 The contact form is the safest. Having a email address is asking for the spam bots to attack.

On my own site theres a contact form, has a random capture that has to be entered, along with a return email and phone number - this stops the bots, but still get single spams on the odd occasion as someone has to actually manually enter the details and select 1 drop down option.

Depending on the program / host you use to make the site, some do allow the options to add an attachment.
