You use orbs, scrolls and other items to barter and buy stuff, and all of them have uses, which neatly eliminates the old requirements for gold sinks it's got skills tied to gems, breaking the old 'start with a fireball at level 1, end up with a fire wave at level 99' sort of thing, instead being 'pick up a fire gem . level it a bit . pick up a support gem for it . have it split into 3 when it hits things . pick up another gem and increase splash damage . ' it's got an absolutely immense skill tree . They're calling it something along the lines of skilldrasil, since it's got over 1000 skills you can use in your character builds, with none tied to a particular class . It's also free, supported by hats and cosmetics in the same vein as Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2, and I'm finding it really impressive so far . Go give it a go . 1325031	2013-01-29 03:37:00	ive played about an hour in open beta. i like it so far. the "skill forest" is quite intimidating but holds great amount of potential. I smiled to myself when i picked up a "paua amulet".	cagesen (16448)
