| 1324897 | 2013-01-25 11:00:00 | Not really - you've only got to be on one of the (rather large) listed netblocks, and given that a lot of these devices are firewall / netfilter devices a lot would be directly accessible to anyone on the internal network! Also, the existence of hidden access vectors to undisclosed offshore third parties, into your (employers) network should be of reasonable concern to anyone responsible for it's security. The fact that the hole is introduced by commercial "security software" isn't really funny either. I wonder if any govt departments are running these 'appliances'? |
