NZ be very worried

spencer is stuffed
umaga stuffed
rockokco stuffed

and its only been the first game

and it sucks how the IRB logo has to be sooo massive on the all blacks jersey when they look pretty "smaller" on all others...

182281 2003-10-11 09:50:00 The All Blacks looked every inch the World Cup favourites, especially in a 13-minute period in the second half when they ran in five of their 11 tries.

But if they are to win a second William Webb Ellis trophy it will probably have to be without vice-captain Umaga.

He left the field after a heavy collision in the first half and if the worst fears of the medical staff are confirmed, Umaga's tournament is over.

"Potentially it's a rupture of a ligament, most likely the posterior cruciate, if it's ruptured a decision will need to be made in terms of whether an operation is required," said All Blacks coaching coordinator Robbie Deans.

"If it involves an operation it will be pretty tragic for Tana."

arrrrrrrgh did this have to happen :(

182283 2003-10-12 02:25:00 1987: NZ netball win world champs, then nz beat italy rugby 70-6 then went on to win world cup

2003: nz win netball world champs, then nz beat italy rugby 70-7 . . . . . then went on . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

182284 2003-10-12 03:04:00 in 1987 did the Italians score a converted try or two penalties?. If they scored a converted try then the similarities are even more uncanny :) b1naryb0y (3)
182285 2003-10-12 07:19:00 i wouldnt know
coz in 1987 the scoring was different...
csinclair83 (200)
182286 2003-10-12 07:27:00 ahhh

in 1987 it was 4 points a try and 2 a conversion
so its the same now but 5 points for the try

so its still identical from 1987/2003....

score 70 points and concede 1 try/goal

the try "value" was increased in 1992....guess it hasnt been around long
