| 182168 | 2003-10-11 04:46:00 | I've uninstalled all my messenger installations, the one thats built in with xp, did that via windows components, and also uninstalled the msn 6... but theres still one lurking around and logs on msn every time i open outlook... what can i do here? |

| 182170 | 2003-10-11 04:56:00 | outlook express.. thats unticked and when i open add/remove programs, it doesnt show up in the main list but when i open add/remove windows componets it shows it as "Windows Messenger 0.0mb" and i assuming that means its not installed... |

| 182175 | 2003-10-11 05:20:00 | been doing some searches on pf1 and this apparently happens heaps, came up with a post from vk_dre. and this is what she/ er he ? posted i am not sure about it but do a search and see what you find other wise, " Run the line of code below in the run dialog and Messenger will uninstall, but this is only for Win XP " RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove hope this helps. beetle |
