181942 2003-10-10 12:34:00 Im pretty sure the machine is just overclocked,Thats how they list it as a 3.8 ghz with a 950mhz fsb.

Alianware have been known to do the same thing.

181944 2003-10-10 21:01:00 Can someone please explain to me why no one seems to like internal ADSL modems? I thought they would be pretty useful for a single computer, because you have it inside the case instead of on the floor or something like that...

I know it would be a different matter if you're connecting more than one computer to the ADSL connection, but yeah.

But you can use an internal ADSL modem for more then one computer!

Just use ICS or a proxy to link them all up (that is what we do we use ICS :)) that is why I cannot understand why they try & get us to spend more money on a external one & routes etc . . . !

181946 2003-10-10 22:03:00 But then a few computers would need to be on if you weren't using the main one? Lohsing (219)
181947 2003-10-10 23:56:00 Wow. No mention of a screen tho. And those prices are US. Shiit! hamstar (4)
181948 2003-10-11 00:25:00 3.8ghz chip - the footnote says that it is overclocked (or as they said... "accelerated". somebody (208)
181949 2003-10-11 00:25:00 You mean these monitors (www.go-l.com) which are sold by them but aren't a part of the computer?? ;)

Lo.

181950 2003-10-11 01:21:00 I can see how they overclocked it so far, check out the hard out watercooling.

The price of $16,000us I came up with, I think included the triple monitor display.

181951 2003-10-11 05:29:00 There is something to be said for selling an Internet Ready PC hence the inclusion of a 56k modem. It will have a NIC for if you want to use broadband. Internal ADSL is just not worth it, it's not even a selling point for people that aren't informed either. -=JM=- (16)
