| 182482 | 2003-10-12 01:03:00 | hi ya, ok am a bit lost here, when saving my doc's or pic's i find it always comes up something about a thumbs. file... now i always forget to write it down exactly what it says. but basically it tells me without this info the pic may be lost or cannot be opened.... does this sound correct, it does it with a lot of pic's, and last time before the reformat of puter i ened up ticking do not bother me with this question any more like.... and its back again as im saving stuff i ve been working on the last few days..... is this normal is this something that tells my puter what prog to open these files/ data with or is it something which i dont need? now i will try and get it to do this again and copying exact wording down if pos.... just unsure what it is and does.... cos i sure as dont have a thumbs file... beetle |

| 182483 | 2003-10-12 01:17:00 | Thumbs.db is the database file that hold the "thumbnail view" (the small preview picture seen in Windows Explorer when Thumnail is selected) information. If its hot there it would only affect the ability to view the files by thumbnail option I assume |
