If you have a restore point from before the hijack installed iteslf then i guess so,I have System restore turned off myself,and have no image or back up of my os,forcing me to do it the hardway every time. Otherwise,resetting your homepage,running spybot and ad-awere then finding and editing(search for the file,then right click it and choose edit) that sys.reg file will do the trick.As well as dumping all your cookies,temp files and anything dodgy in C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files(just to be safe) will get rid of it. |
