| 182555 | 2003-10-12 07:18:00 | Need to use a 3rd party uninstaller,they do exsist and mostly work well,but there is a chance of corupting your windows install completly. Running a search on the forums at madonion would turn up a few and some insights into them. Otherwise,use google.Directx uninstaller should bring up some relevent results. |

| 182556 | 2003-10-12 07:55:00 | Mind me asking WHY? Direct X has been nothing short of excellent for Windows Gaming, and AFAIK it's fully backwareds compatible with all previous versions. I dont see why it wouldnt be. If you're having issues with it, get 9.0b and that may solve your troubles. If you're short on HDD space... it may be time for an upgrade if 30 megs over DirectX 8.x makes all the difference...?! |
