I"ve tried a number of editing programs. I just want a simple cut-and-paste type program, to cut sections out of a birthday video, with no fuss and no frills, and be able to save the remaining video into one file. I have searched Press F1 and the question has been asked before, and I've checked out all the ones suggested, but there's always new stuff coming up and I'm getting so frustrated I might even throw a 'wobbly'. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. thankz heapz |

If you can tryand download microsofts moviemaker 2. You can add titles, credits at the end, cut and splice mpegs and have the program put it all together. It's basic and easy to use. |

I think you can save in mpeg format in Movie Maker. When saving change the file extension by typing it in ie Mymovie.mpeg I think that worked for me last time ( I don't have file extensions hidden) But Movie Maker is only available for XP I think |
