| 183190 | 2003-10-14 09:43:00 | Yes. I've used windows filesharing with both 3.1 and WFW3.1. (WFW works better). It is also possible to get TCP/IP working too. |

| 183193 | 2003-10-15 03:17:00 | I doubt if you'll have a PCI slot free (or any PCI slots) on a machine running W3.11. :D WFW3.11 had drivers for most of the ISA cards available then (and the N2000 driver worked for many. :D) Have a look at the windows upgrades (www.62nds.co.nz) here, where you can get the WFW TCP/IP. (I've tested that link, but the tail end of it might not work for you. If so ... just go to the home page (http://www.62nds.co.nz/) and go through Software>Patches.) |

| 183194 | 2003-10-15 03:22:00 | It is possible to network Windows for Workgroups 3.xx with Win 98, share the internet using the TCP/IP add-on and AnalogX's Proxy program. wown.com has good info on networking win/wfw3.x. good luck. | mark.p (383) | ||
