Actually... I think I'm wrong there. I think both support it...

183148 2003-10-15 10:42:00 It is nice to hear that an xbox can do such a thing . But I think, we I already have a PC, do we need another in the lounge? A Ps2 is equal I think .

Now I am having 2nd thought whether I should return this . I got some games hire out, not the ones included for free, as its a bit of a drive to the city . Its really the same as the PC, the games I took out and most most if not "all" are available on Xbox, Ps2, and PC . I took out Medal of Honour (?), EA Cricket, Getaway .

The pluses:
Big screen in the lounge .
To be away from the PC
Rentals, to an extent

The minus:
The PC is something we have already
The quality is nothing special vs today's PC
Rentals - cannot be hired out too long as cost build up . Adventure/story games are esp vulnerable as 3 day rentals u won't get far .

A GF-4 Ti series video card is not too much .
What do u think?

183150 2003-10-16 02:14:00 I have not played so much PC games these days. What is someone's verdict between the Ps2/Xbox games against PC platforms??

Is the graphics better, or are they the same?? (PC monitor vs console TV)

When PC tv-out is used, what is the verdict of this vs the console??

I hate returning stuff ... but if its gotta be done ....

183151 2003-10-16 02:21:00 A good PC spanks any and all consoles. Not just in graphics but in everyother department.

Using the tv-out of a pc is terrible for games,Complety destroys the experience. If you want to have games on the tv then use a console. And enjoy crap grahics from that instead.

Make note that i am biased against consoles, but i cant see any reason to have one if you have access to a game capable computer.

Whack a gforce4 ti or ati 9600 in your puter then fire up Unreal2,then go look at the quality of the same sort of game running on a ps2 or Xbox....

183152 2003-10-16 05:01:00 just got off the ps2. dunno if its the 3d game or the tv....
i feel i want to puke. the game was medial of honour: frontline.

I get this with counter strike ont he pc too, not as bad.
