| 183143 | 2003-10-14 23:28:00 | Cheapest X-Box package I've seen so far is for $299 at Electronice Boutique... don't actually know what's in the package... but 1. Modding your x-box will mean you won't need to buy a DVD kit for your X-Box, as well as making it region free. 2. Allows you to install a larger hard drive to play games, run emulators, etc from the HD. 3. At the moment, my X-Box is connected to our lan at home and acts as a portable DivX player, and region free DVD player. 4. It's the only gaming console with Dolby 5.1 surround support built in... makes gaming awesome if you have 5.1 surround speakers! aaargh! So much more I could say... puts the PS2 to shame I tell you! ;) Lo. |
