It can go if so.. > alg.exe www.liutilities.com It can stay > svchost.exe > svchost.exe > svchost.exe > svchost.exe Another system process... leave them all > lsass.exe www.liutilities.com > csrss.exe www.liutilities.com > smss.exe www.liutilities.com > WkCalRem.exe MS Works Calendar Reminder app IIRC... Kill it and remove them from within msconfig > and are these two ms works things? > wksWP.exe > msworks.exe Yup, MS Works, and again you can kill them as some of these works files (Notably the first) can cause many-a-crash! | 183016 | 2003-10-15 21:51:00 | try again, thanxs chill this works ms you say get rid of, i run ms works as my word processor will this be affected? and will need to sit down and do some reading on these things to get my head round them a little i feel . and Khooker - i have never had kazza or kazaa lite on this puter and remember its just been formated so it should have nothing on it but what i have put on it or surfed to . . . . and while doing first post back to reply to you it spat the dummy and i lost pf1 page altogether so am really starting to get anoyed by this machine again . bah . . . . . thanxs for your help and time doing a search, lack of knowledge and where to look is my main problem . so am indebted to you and other pf1 people who can and do help me . beetle |
